Too much air in the tires😮
We run them at 28psi so we don’t pinch the sidewalls. Anything lower and we shred 2 tires every race. We also run a tire inside the tires and they are set at 50psi for extra security.
awesome shots!!
Eagles nest! You guys came back with a vengeance!
@@hoopergaragetv608 we just HAD to bring the race car back.
@@Jensenbrosoffroad I would do the same thing if I had one 😁
Best info ever.
Good on ya guys for providing testing footage!

Where can i get this struts
jensenbrosoffroad.com/collections/ori-struts
I prefer to use solid blocks of wood for support if I'm going to crawl under a car. Those jack stand leg corners sink into blacktop easily on a warm day and they are not as sturdy as they look.

Nice work boots they for sale ha
Those actually come in steel toe. But not the ones he’s wearing. Lol.
There is literally a sticker that comes on the stand the tells you to bend the tab.
@@Me-123 you read the stickers? Lol.
@@Jensenbrosoffroad haha, it said "bend tab" you'd have to be intentionally avoiding it or can't read not to read it while taking it off.
@@Me-123 Our offroad machines have stickers telling us not to drift them...yeah, ok. :)
What was the roll pin that fell out?
It was the pin for the lobe that engages the teeth.
And people say Hondas are for the weak. Not if you know anything about tuning.
Excellent
They don’t make a 70” lmao 58” is the biggest they go

Resonance . It's all in the resonance.
Did NOT expect it to sound like an "ELEPHANT-gun".That KFC will be extra crispy, too!😎👍✌🇨🇦
So is there a different ultra 4 class for the independent sus trucks compared to the solid axle trucks?
This class in the 4400 unlimited class, there is a mix of solid axle and independent suspension cars.
Based on the rebound assembly design year changes my rear STX are 2016+ . I've pulled them apart and was partially assembling as I forgot to buy oil before Sunday so didn't want to fully assemble then fill through a little hole . Anyway the only issues I've run into so far are after assembly of the new 2020+ lower cap I could not get my old shaft in without pulling some part of the wiper seal out of the cap and ending up with a partially seated seal I tried for over an hour then lost patience and dicked up two wiper seals . Prior to assembly of the seals I inserted the piston shaft to see if there was a little wobble room there this was upon manufacturer advisement. I then inserted the shaft without the wiper seal and I can barely move that shaft at all and it feels almost gritty/ grabby I know these have stiction but the front struts were bought new and could freely move those in and out fully assembled . Is there a possibility of a miss match tolerance issue between the older struts 2016 shafts and the newer 2020+ style lower caps I'm upgrading to during the rebuild or have the shafts not changed at all . Just Seems odd I can't get these to insert cleanly through the wiper seals using the chamfered side in the same manner as you in the video and they feel overly tight .
Check your coolant 😂😂😂
Man he looks like he’s enjoying that
Trabajo mucho bien
Thank you
Looks like he's making love with the gas tank.
@jensenbrosoffroad, I just wanted to thank you for the awesome install. It looks great and performs even better. The Level-it really is a special product.
Thank you for letting us experiment with your Jeep!
It was good to meet you guys on the trail! You can tell that I definitely need to get some modern suspension on my old CJ- it would make a world of difference!
Awesome meeting you guys! building out that CJ would be a lot of fun.
In a rock crawler application, is one of these in the rear enough or do you need one front and rear?
2 of them, front and rear, will give you maximum performance. You CAN do one at a time though.
So what's the difference in seals between a 2017 STX and the 2020+ I have a set of 2017 and older the older look like the 2017 . I have leaks on both sets possibly bad machine surfaces on the 2017 they leaked from pretty much new . I'd like to get the best seals in my struts when I rebuild them what parts do I need to swap to upgrade to the better seal designs . I plan to rebuild myself to offset the cost of upgrading parts ... I'll be calling you soon anyway to ask the same questions 😅
There is a different lower cap on 2020+ so the rod seal is different and there is an added wear band.

Will this also function to counteract vehicle sway while cornering at speed.
Yes, the centripetal force will close the side the car is diving into.

I have been waiting SO long for these to finally come out!!!! I'LL TAKE TWO PLEASE!!!! :)

That video is in production😀
💣💥👍
Watching this new STX video You've talked me into pulling apart my own struts seems straight forward. I got a set stx from December 2017 and a set of STX of unknown age . I'm going to purchase new rebound assemblies and couple other things for the older unknown age struts and the 2017 had rebound adjusters that just spun in circles from factory so going to uograde those as well . I had reservoirs and level it on both after removing all that and going to just a Schrader off the strut they don't leak down as bad which i also found they handled just fine so only going to plumb the level it back in and leave the piggy backs off ... I'm a lazy guy but rebuilding these on my own najes the uogrades a break even. Thanks for taking yout time to post the video instructions.
Did you have the stainless steel braided hoses?
@@Jensenbrosoffroad No at first it was mentioned the lines supplied might not have been great so I bought new braided lines then it was said that the lining of the braided stainless lines leak and Thermo plastic was the way to go so I bought Thermo plastic lines from hose werks in Denver and that changed nothing . The new set bought in 2017 had defective rebound adjusters it was said that wouldn't effect their performance but the struts themselves seem to leak they were also shipped over full on the lower chamber as I had to let fluid out to get them to extend past 14 inches (18s) during mock up . The rears leak slowly but otherwise are actually in better shape than the ones bought new since the rebound adjusters aren't broken. Going to break them down and rebuild them and make sure there aren't any rough edges on any of the suspect areas ... It's not too costly if doing them yourself looks reasonably easy .
And that boy's and girls in off-road racing is what we call a yard sale! How you are ok Man .
